HS SIEF Proposal System:

Welcome to the HS Student Instructional Equipment Funds (SIEF) proposal system.

This system is for use by the academic departments and programs of the College of Humanities & Sciences to request instructional support funds. Computers are funded under the separate Student Computer Fee fund, but computer related items such as printers, scanners, and projectors may be requested.

Here are some of the things for which SIEF money has been used. Remember that it is Student Instructional Equipment (not research equipment), which is not necessarily technology:

• Laboratory Equipment — Hotplates, Flasks, Pipettes, etc.
• Psychological Testing Equipment
• Solar Generators
• Skulls
• Rock Samples
• Microscopes & a telescope
• WaCom tablet for drawing
